Is this you? Even before businesses started going online, the competition between fashion brands is in what they can offer and how different they are from the rest.


This way, they can STAND OUT.



Now, how do you show your followers your brand’s uniqueness?


1. Do not compare so much

• While social media makes it so easy to look at what your competitors are doing, comparing is often not a nice thing. Overthinking why they are doing so well may distract you from what your brand really is! Instead, focus on what your brand’s good points are, how you create value for the community, and work from there. Be you!


2. Listen to your customers

• Fashion brand owners should have a basic understanding of their customers and improve it with more details as time progresses. Consider their feedback so you’ll know better how to serve them. Try looking at your brand from your customer’s viewpoint. Learn from them and make adjustments as necessary.


3. Stop trying to do everything

• Just because you see others do or post something and get a lot from it, does not mean you have to copy! This is a habit fashion brands should avoid. Focus on the things that matter to your brand the most. What kind of product or content connects to your brand’s purpose? Choose a few things and do them well.


4. Use graphics that reflect your brand

• Your brand’s visual identity is one of the first things your followers would notice. Leave an impact by using graphics that reflect your brand, what it stands for, and how it wants to be seen. Consistency in how your products is presented will help build credibility for your brand.


5. Ask for what you need

• Highlighting your brand’s uniqueness is not an easy thing. Running a fashion business does not end in you designing clothes or jewelry. It will be difficult to do it alone as there are a lot of aspects in your business that needs focusing! Ask for support and help from others who will do specific tasks better. Get experts in graphic design, marketing, copy-writing, or many other kinds of help you think is better outsourced.
